The physical effect of this installation is one of disturbing ambiguity between something welcoming (the safe haven of four walls) and something imposing (the embedded wire mesh), creating an uncanny suggestion of being trapped in a confined space. This piece was built in Bogotá and was designed to be dismounted and rebuilt as needed.
